Torah about more and less obvious aspects of the treatment of refugees from Ukraine (PL)
01.07.2022 - 11:00 / JCC Krakow, Miodowa 24When it comes to the topic of refugees from Ukraine, the Torah has direct instructions for us and conclusions from many places, where it talks about strangers, newcomers, and foreigners. It tells us to treat them very well “because we were also strangers in the land of Egypt.” We will study in accordance with the ancient Jewish tradition – in chavrutas, meaning in groups of a few people, and share what was important in these conversations. It does not require preparation: anyone can follow the references of biblical threads to their own life and the new reality of the war in Ukraine.
