31st JCF | access for disabled persons

Everyone interested in contemporary Jewish culture is most welcome at 31st JCF. We make sure that the events are also accessible for disabled persons.

The main festival venues (the JCF Tent and the Tempel Synagogue) have no architectural barriers. Additionally, in the synagogue we have a special sector for persons with disabilities, with a separate entrance. Our partners’ facilities are also accessible for people with special needs.

We also provide assistants for people with disabilities who will help anyone who needs it to participate in the events of the 31st JCF. If you need such assistance – please inform us in advance: by phone (12 431 15 17) or by e-mail: robert@jewishfestival.pl

Guides and guardians of persons with disabilities may participate in the events free of charge (1 person).

Low-floor trams and buses have their routes close to the festival venues with stops at ul. św. Wawrzyńca (lines 17, 19, 24, 73, 669) and ul. Stradom (lines 8, 10, 13, 22, 52, 62, 73, 610, 662, 904). In Kazimierz there are also parking places for the disabled in the following locations:

The Quarter of Kazimierz is within the paid parking zone. Pursuant to Resolution of the Krakow City Council of 22 November 2017 (i.e. Journal of Laws of the Małopolska Region of 2021, item 3515), the disabled are entitled to park free of charge only in specially designated places, the so-called “Envelopes” provided that the original of the parking card is put on the windshield of the vehicle in a way that displays security marking labels on the card with its number and expiry date visible.

We are aware that this still does not make our festival 100% accessible. We will continue to work on the accessibility of JCF, our events and promotion materials for people with various disabilities. Please let us know if you have any suggestions on what we should change in the first place.
